Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 cups Onion diced
- 12 oz Ham diced
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 9 oz Tortellini
- 1 cup Baby Sweet Peas frozen
- 1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 cup Cheese shredded (Swiss, white cheddar, Monterey Jack or pepper Jack)
- Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add the onions and cook until softened and golden brown.
- Add the ham and continue to cook until lightly browned.
- Add the chicken broth, pasta and seasonings.
- Stir well to combine and bring to a boil.
- Cover, then reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Stir in the peas and cream.
- Remove from heat, then stir in 1⁄2 cup of cheese until well combined.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Place pasta in an oven-safe pan and broil until the cheese is golden and bubbly, approximately 3 minutes.
